Congratulations On Making The Board

Our very own, Chrislynn Losier has been welcomed to the board for Timmins Victim Services,

and District Victim Services, Ontario is a non-profit volunteer-based organization which assists police and other emergency services in providing emotional and practical assistance to people who have experienced a crime, tragic life event or community disaster including:

• Domestic Violence / Intimate Partner Violence

• Sexual Violence

• Human Trafficking

Statement of Purpose

To lessen the trauma of being victimized; to help the victim cope with the impact of the crime and/or tragic circumstance; to encourage the victim to connect with appropriate services; to assist police in their response to the needs of victims; and, to provide an opportunity for the community to become more involved in dealing with the effects of crime and mobilizing crime prevention efforts.
